There's much more to this world than just you or me. Much more than our problems, our pleasure, our doubts, our fears and dreams... there's us, there's it. Us men, women, children, elders: humans. A little romance

Wild life by my window

I usually don´t see exotic birds flying by my building, but last week I was luck enough to watch this wild parrot take flight.  They are usually accompanied by other wild parrots and I could always hear their noise as they went, but never see them. 

É muito raro eu ver pássaros exóticos voando perto do meu prédio, mas na semana passada eu tive a sorte de ver um papagaio selvagem. Eles normalmente voam em grupo e fazem uma grande algazarra, mas embora eu consegui escutá-los, nunca tinha conseguido vê-los.

I almost broke one of my fingers taking this photo..and that´the only reason it´s here..lol. 

Eu quase quebrei um dos meus dedos tentando tirar essa foto, somente por isso resolvi colocá-la aqui...risos.

Golden horizon

It was about to rain heavily when I took this photo. I thought it was amazing the view of my neighbourhood covered by the heavy clouds shadow while the ones further were priviledged by the golden light of the sunset.

Eu tirei essa foto um pouco antes de cair uma tempestade. Eu me maravilhei vendo a sombra das nuvens carregadas cobrindo meu bairro enquanto a luz dourada do por do sol banhava os bairros e municípios mais longinquos.

No better meal

Specially after all these holiday events with tons of food, a nice and fresh salad is the best choice. There's no better and healthier meal than that.

Não há refeição melhor que essa, especialmente depois dessas ceias todas de fim d ano, uma boa e fresca salada é a melhor pedida! Não há nada melhor e mais saudável.

Unexpected

When I took this photo I had something else in my mind..I would hardly notice an old man posing with his hand in the water, but what I got was more than I would expect. I love this photo... I´m still an amateur, learning to focus and I didn't expect that hand..lol. but it turned out great!

Quando eu tirei essa foto eu tinha outra coisa em mente..eu nem percebi que tinha um senhor posando para a foto com sua mão na água, mas o que fotografei foi mais do que esperava. Eu amo essa foto...por ainda ser uma amadora, aprendendo a focalizar eu não esperava capturar esse braço estendido..risos..mas saiu muito boa a foto!

Love inherited

This is my mom and I took this photo while she was admiring her favorite tree in the park she always goes for a walk. You can see the love in her face expression. She taught me to love nature and respect it and I guess there´s no better inheritance one can get.

Essa é a minha mãe e tirei essa foto enquanto ela admirava sua árvore preferida no parque onde ela costuma caminhar. Pode-se ver o tamanho amor emanando de sua expressão facial. Ela me ensinou a amar e a respeitar a natureza e creio que essa é a melhor herança que se possa ganhar.

Peeking out

There's a park near my mother's house where they have all these kinds of farm and wild animals and I saw this hen's head peeking out of a little house. It seemed a fun photo.

Perto da casa da minha mãe tem um parque onde são criados vários animais e onde eu vi a cabeça dessa galinha espiando fora de sua casinha. Achei muito divertida a foto.

Romance by the candle light

Just a very spontaneous and romantic photo I took from my brother and his girfriend at their prom dinner. 

Apenas uma foto espontânea e romantica que tirei do meu irmão com sua namorada no jantar de formatura deles.

Simplicity

Have you ever seen a bean flower?! That's one of  my black beans plant and that's the first time I see its flower. It grows right outside my kitchen's window. It´s very simple, but it's gratifying to watch it bloom.

Você já viu flor de feijão?! Essa é uma das mudas de feijão preto que plantei e mantenho do lado de fora da janela da minha cozinha, e essa é a primeira vezque vejo muda de feijão florescer. É bem simples, mas é muito gratificante de observar.

Outside my window

What if I said I lived by a big lake, on a top of a mountain or a high apartment and told you I took this photo right after the sun came up, from my window, would you believe me just by looking at it?!... It´s the first thing that came in mind when I took this photo of a sunrise with this long cloud crossing it, from my window, just a little bit after 6 am..and there´s no lake, no water at all. Once I heard beauty is on in the eyes of the beholder..that´s incredibly true.

E se eu dissesse que eu vivia na beira de um grande lago, no topo de uma montanha ou em um apartamento alto, e te contasse que tirei essa foto um pouco depois do sol nascer, da minha  janela...você acreditaria apenas olhando essa foto?...Foi a primeira coisa que me veio à mente quando tirei essa foto, da minha janela, do nascer do sol com uma nuvem longa cruzando o céu aproximadamente às 6:00h da manhã...e não há lago ou qualquer tipo de hidrografia por perto. Certa vez eu escutei que a beleza está nos olhos de quem vê..e isso é incrivelmente verdade.

Where's baby Jesus?

A nativity scene with pinguins, dinosaurs, Santa Claus, the 3 little pigs, a parrot, Madagascar's Melman, etc...you can only find it at my mom's! Every year she creates a different nativity scene and adds up all colorful and cheerful creatures she can find. It's fun to find the characters who are most unlikely to be there.

Presépio com penguins, dinossauros, Papai Noel, os Três Porquinhos, o Louro José, o Melman do Madagascar, etc... você só encontra na casa da minha mãe! Todos os anos ela inventa um presépio diferente e acrescenta as mais diversas e coloridas criaturas que ela possa encontrar. É divertido procurar os personagens lá, que nunca encontraríamos em um presépio.

You gotta do what you've gotta do

That's what happens when you babysit and have fun doing that. I love it and when I´m with the kids I become one..then there's no barrier.. except the responsability ..which is there all the time.

Isso é o que acontece quando você cuida de crianças e se diverte fazendo isso..ossos do ofício..risos.  Eu amo fazer babysitting!..e quando estou com as crianças, eu me torno uma..aí então ninguém nos segura..exceto que a responsabilidade caminha lado a lado com essa diversão. 

The mood behind the camera

Being behind the camera implies a huge responsability. The photographer has the power to effect with his art. His mood when taking the photo and his goal towards it become a kind of energy that emanate from the image, changing the mood of those who looks and apreciate it. Whe think and act upon our moods, so art effect our actions and thoughts.  Make sure you fill up your art with a lot of positiveness.

Estar atrás da camera exige grande responsabilidade. O fotógrafo tem o poder de influenciar com sua arte. Seu humor quando está fotografando e seus objetivos com relação à foto criam uma espécie de energia que emana da imagem mudando o humor daqueles que olham e apreciam. Against light, pro Light

One of my future projects. Against light is my favorite. I want to be able to capture the dazzling magical scene and the amazing feeling it brings. light is not only material, it spiritually effects as Light and I want to be able to bring they both together in my art.

Um dos meus projetos futuros: contraluz, a favor da Luz. Contraluz é o meu tipo de fotografia preferida. Eu desejo capturar as cenas mágicas e encantadoras e os mais maravilhosos sentimentos que ela traz... luz não é apenas material, ela também nos afeta como Luz e eu espero poder uni-las nas minhas obras primas.

Mountains or clouds?

In Bern, Switzerland, when the skies are clear, you can see the shadows of the alps and they almost look like clouds. This photo I took in my city in Brazil reminds me of that. A beautiful sunset, although the photo isn´t as clear as I´d like it to be. Anyway, have never seen the alps? They look just like the shadow of this cloud, 

Em Berna, na Suiça, quando o céu está limpo você pode ver a sombra dos alpes ao longe e ela quase parece com nuvens. Essa foto que eu tirei na minha cidade me lembra daquela vista. Um lindo por-do-sol, apesar da foto não estar tão nítida quanto eu gostaria. De qualquer forma, você já viu os alpes? Ao longe, eles paressem-se com as nuvens da foto.
